- You will be taken back to an exam room and may be asked to change into a gown.
- A technologist will explain your exam, ask about your health history, and answer any questions.
- You’ll be positioned carefully depending on the scan—lying down, or sitting
- The technologist will take the images, guiding you through each step.
Most exams are quick and painless. You may be asked to stay very still during imaging to help get the clearest pictures. We’re here to help you feel at ease the whole time.
